- Lock all doors and windows
- Make sure anything that can move, like balloons and decorations, is not in front of motion detectors
- Know how to cancel an alarm with the central station
- Train all users how to arm and disarm the system
- Schedule a service call if the alarm is not working properly
- Notify us if you remodel your home
- Let us us know if you change your phone system
- Update your contact info every year
