To show our appreciation, FIVE nominated heroes will receive a state-of-the-art security system valued at $2000, completely free of charge. Ensuring that those who protect us are well-protected in return.
Nominate Your Heroes
Do you know someone who embodies the spirit of community service? Maybe they’re a first responder, a teacher, a healthcare worker, or even a neighbour who’s always there to lend a helping hand. No matter their role, we want to hear about how they’re making a difference in our community.
Promotion Period: The “Community Heroes” promotion begins on Feb 21st, 2024 and ends on March 31st, by which all nominations must be submitted.
Eligibility: This promotion is open to legal residents of Essex, Kent, Lambton, Middlesex, or Elgin County who are at least 18 years of age at the time of nomination. Employees of Security ONE, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.
How to Enter: No purchase necessary to enter or win. Participants must complete the nomination form, including providing a brief story detailing the nominee’s contributions to the community. Incomplete entries will not be considered.
Selection of Winners: Winners will be selected by a panel of judges from Security ONE based on the criteria of community impact, dedication, and the inspirational nature of their contributions. The decision of the judges is final and binding.
Prizes: Five (5) winners will each receive a Qolsys IQ Hub Smart Panel, 1 Motion sensor, 2 Door/window sensors, including professional. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is available. Winners must agree to the terms of service associated with the security system.
Notification: Winners will be notified by email or phone within 2 days following the selection of winners. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize, or fails to return completed and executed declaration and releases as required, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner selected.
Consent to Use of Data: Nominators and nominees’ consent to the collection, processing, and use of their personal data by Security ONE for the purpose of the promotion. Winners consent to the use of their names, likenesses, and stories for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.
Liability: Security ONE is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the promotion, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of submissions in the promotion.
Terms and Conditions: Security ONE reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the promotion if any fraud, virus, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper play of the promotion, as determined by Security ONE in its sole discretion.
Disputes: This promotion is governed by the laws of Ontario, without respect to conflict of law doctrines. As a condition of participating in this promotion, participants agree that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this promotion, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Ontario having jurisdiction.
