Phone Line Cut During Burglary

Sometime late Saturday night or early Sunday morning of November 22nd, an unknown suspect forced their way into the Wheatley Arena on Erie Street North.

Once inside, the suspect damaged the ATM machine, a safe and entered the canteen area and stole a quantity of cash.


The police investigation revealed that the area phone lines had been cut disrupting service to local residents costing over $5000 in repair costs. Damage to the arena and ATM is over $3000
